My TiVo show listings have been messed up for a while, not accurately reflecting my local cable lineup. I finally decided to do something about it and emailed TiVo Customer Service. They responded almost immediately that I just need to send them a list of what my TiVo currently lists each channel as and what the channel actually is. Thanks to newly expanded digital cable (channels 2 – 939), I’ve got my work cut out for me.

Even though I don’t subscribe to any of the premium channels, I feel the responsibility to accurately and exhaustively report my cable lineup in the unlikely case that someone else in this backwater little town actually buys a TiVo. But I’m still incredibly embarrassed to be typing in silly porn channel after porn channel (what is Eurotica? Does it just show films of women with hairy legs and armpits?).
