Store accidentally puts out Harry Potter book a week early.

I wish there was a Harry Potter weblog where I could get my daily fix of news. I tried to get Kevin to start one, but he’s too busy right now.

I realized today that the book is being released on a Saturday and that the campus bookstore I preordered it at (with my 15% university staff discount) is not open on Saturday. So, I raced down there today and canceled my order. I also realized that had I not also canceled my preorder from Amazon.com last month, I wouldn’t have gotten the book on Saturday either because campus mail is not delivered over the weekend during the summer.

So, I’m just going to have to brave the crowds and go to the 24hr SuperWalmart on Friday at Midnight and try to grab a copy.
