Nope, I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth… I’m in the middle of RA training, just like I have been every August for the past 7 years.

I’ve decided I’ve probably come to the end of the road as a hall director. I just don’t have the energy anymore to keep up with the students. Once I manage to open my building for the start of the school year, I’ll start polishing my resume and exploring other career options in Student Affairs or Higher Education for the next academic year. Come next summer, hopefully I’ll move in with Jeff in Jersey City (after 11 years in campus housing).

On Thursday (Aug 26) this blog will turn 5 years old, and in 18 days I’ll turn 30.
