Matt is a retail whore.

I spent way too much money yesterday in Columbia, Missouri: eating out, seeing Bridget Jones’ Diary (which is hysterical), and purchasing some long-needed new clothes. I also bought a new optical mouse and dropped $200 on a Lego Mindstorms kit.

I want to set up a motorized webcam, but my 2 webcams have been all wonky since I installed Windows 2000. So, I’ll most likely go out again tonight and drop another $50 or $100 on a new webcam (to say nothing of all the batteries I’m sure I’m go to go through running this thing!).

You’re going to use the Lego Mindstorms to make a motorized webcam? Dude!

I’ve been watching Wonder Woman on Tivo, and all I can think of is IRA’s little buddy. No, better yet, Twiggy from Buck Rodgers!

You probably thought of this – but before buying a new webcam, you might see if the camera company Web site has specific W2000 drivers to download. It helped us.
