I’ve been making some progress with my running. I’m jogging longer and longer before taking breaks to walk. And I’m really enjoying these longer jogging spells.
Tonight I started to get into that “zone” that I hear runners talk about – I’m not quite there, but I can tell that when I do it will help motivate me to keep running.
While finishing up my cool-down slow walk home (it had gotten completely dark by then), I was almost scared to death by a large, snarling dog in a fenced yard. That sure sent my lowering pulse rate way back up!
