12 month contracts in the education biz really suck. For me to have gone anywhere this week during Spring Break, I would have had to use some of my precious days off, which I’m saving up for a visit home this summer (that’s right, I only get July 4th off over the summer).

Actually, being here in my dorm all alone is kind of nice: I have lots of peace and quiet to get caught up on various projects. But what I don’t have is any hot water. For the whole week. Which is at least better than not having any water at all yesterday. I’m the only hall director who’s staying over break and it HAD TO BE my building which they decided to do repairs on!
