Karaoke at the Golden Spike.
Last night I went with some folks to a local country bar – the kind that students and faculty usually don’t go to. They’ve got Karaoke every Thursday and a bunch of the folks from the Theatre department go every week.
I’m interested in doing theatre here in the area, so I felt like I should try to prove my stage-worthiness by getting up and singing something.
As any of you who have gotten ureach.com voicemails from me can attest to, I really can sing Karaoke. But I wasn’t prepared for “Wind Beneath My Wings” to be in such a high key.
