I’ll Miss You Mr. Hooper: “The grown-ups explain to Big Bird that Mr. Hooper is never coming back.” Tears are now streaming down my face.

That totally made me cry. I remember seeing it air on PBS when I was a kid and being affected by it (I believe it was never rerun after the initial broadcast), but now, as an adult, its the barely suppressed emotion on the grown-ups’ faces that really gets me.
