Distrust
One of the things I don’t like about New York City is how distrustful it has made me of others. A perfect example: everytime I see someone in the Union Square subway station trying to get people to register to vote, I automatically assume they are identity thieves.
They’re probably signing people up for the Communist party without their knowledge. Or at least that’s what the ones around NYU seem to be doing. Not that that’s better than identity theiving.
