Weighted Categories for MovableType

So as not to leave out my MovableType brethren, I adapted my Weighted Categories WordPress plug-in for use on MT (to get a list of categories that looks like Flickr’s photo tag list).

One thing I realized while coding and testing this is, while I still have mucho respect for MovableType, I’m glad I switched over to WordPress and don’t have to deal with endlessly rebuilding templates anymore while tinkering on new code.

This is just what I was looking for… except not written in PHP. 🙂

I was able to get a basic weighted list working in MT using the Arithmetic plugin:
