Dinner in Tribeca

Last night I joined Jeff and his family for his father’s / brother’s / brother’s girlfriend birthday dinner at The Harrison. Without a doubt it’s the $wankiest restaurant I’ve been to in NYC and I felt a little out of my element. The menu’s kind of crazy, but it was absolutely delicious. I could get used to eating like that.

But the hardest part of the evening was finding the right card to give his dad. At the Hallmark I went to I couldn’t find the “Happy Birthday to the father of my gay boyfriend” cards.

Oh yeah, the deputy mayor was sitting at the next table over.

That’s what custom card-making programs are for. 🙂 My honey suggests Broderbund’s Print Shop (which is what he used to make all the fabulous cards he’s given me).
