O Fortuna

Last week I auditioned for and made it into the Gay Gotham Chorus, which Jeff is a member of. My first rehearsal is tonight and we’ll be performing Carmina Burana at the end of March. I have to admit I’m a little intimidated by the idea of learning to pronounce so much Latin in such a short period of time.

Speaking of Jeff — I don’t want to make a big deal about it, but now that we’ve been going out for a few months we’ve decided to start using the term “boyfriend” for each other (which usually makes me want to throw up when I hear other people use it).

Congrats, you two! By the way, when I was a freshman in college, our chorus did Carmina Burana; what an awesome, powerful work. Enjoy!

Carmina Burana! It means “no worries!”

Congrats on the boyfriend thing. 🙂

Ohmigod! Since I wasn’t fortunate enough to wind up with either of you in my own harem–and since I have such a wonderful “boyfriend” (to borrow a phrase from this week’s Sex and the City, “ick!”) of my own–I can’t think of anything at the moment that makes me happier, or at least anything that provides me with better fantasy material.

Well done. Well done. On the boyfriend and Chorus thing. Jealousy abounds, also on both counts.
