Hit or Miss

Here’s my card…

After being handed a few blog calling cards at the MovableType gathering and Gothamist / 601am Happy Hour in September, I’ve been wanting to make some for my own weblog.

Yesterday, Silus Grok whipped up a sweet design for me and I took it to Kinkos. They had to remake them twice (first they cut them incorrectly and then they reopened the file with the wrong font). They still turned out a little wonky, but they were super cheap so I guess I got what I paid for. When these are used up, I’m definitely going to a real printer for more…

Awesome.

If you get a call in the near future from someone in the 415 area code, it may be me. :p

Did you check out that company the crazy lesbians told us about? vistaprint.com? I am going to give them a shot. You get 250 for $35. or 500 for $45. I think I’m gonna do that. Probably.

You are too kind… I just massaged the design you gave me.

: )

Hope the next printing goes better!

PS… I’m sure you realize this, but you do realize that your cell phone number is up for all to see?

i would suggest, if you’re still looking for super fast, not excellent, reasonably cheap service, sir speedy is the way to go. there are a few in the city, and I’ve had good experiences with them. It’s the kind of place you can just walk right in, whereas most of the printers in this city require a “getting to know you” phase.
