American Idle
American Idle. The art of faking cultural knowledge by claiming you’ve TiVo’d a show for later viewing and then just reading up on it via weblogs. And any TiVo owner who says they’ve never done it is lying (via joannou.net).
And any TiVo owner who says they’ve never done it is lying
I’ve never done it. Honestly.
If I see a weblog post about one of those “reality shows” I tend to skip it, and my eyes continue to glaze over when (mercifully few of) our friends begin to discuss “American Idol”.
(That probably sounded a lot snottier than I intended it to.)
See, one of the great things about TiVo is that we can pretend that shows like that don’t even exist. There ARE no shows but “So Graham Norton”, “Smallville”, “Iron Chef”, etc. 🙂
