Chicago: The Musical

Hit or Miss

Chicago: The Musical

Chicago: The Musical. The first trailer for the upcoming movie has appeared online. It’s hard to get a feel for how it will turn out (besides the fact that director Rob Marshall seems to be channeling the film version of Cabaret) because several secondary characters don’t appear in the trailer.

And while I’m on the subject of musicals, someone’s writing a new stage adaptation of the Stephen King’s CARRIE. Personally I wish the writers of the original musical version would finally get over themselves and let someone professionally record it.

Michael Gore has no problem with it. Dean Pitchford, on the other hand, is apparently horrified to be associated with a show that people actually *enjoy*.
