SONICblue, TiVo Press Claims as Lawsuit Threatened. Basically, SonicBLUE (which bought out the failing Replay TV) is threatening to sue TiVo over patent infringment. But TiVo is getting into the fight too — one of the patents they were awarded today was for hooking Recorders into home networks (despite the fact that TiVos have no ethernet jack, which the new RePlayTV actually does have).
