Hit or Miss

Matt is an e-retail whore.

Purchased online in the past week:

From Amazon: Barbara Cook Sings Mostly Sondheim, Bright-Eyed Joy: Songs by Ricky Ian Gordon, The Producers: Original Broadway Cast, Windflowers: The Songs of Jerome Moross, Infinite Joy: Songs of William Finn, Moulin Rouge: Soundtrack, and Psycho Beach Party on DVD.

From Fynsworth Alley: Working: Original Boadway Cast, Guy Haines: Haines His Way, Emily Skinner, and
The Fantasticks In Jazz: The Trotter Trio.

From Blogger: a snazzy Blogger t-shirt.

And finally, from Half.com: Shakespeare in Love as a previously-viewed DVD from Netflix for only $8.

I simply could not live without online shopping online, it’s better than having a panic attack in a crowded mall!

Psycho Beach Party! How have I missed hearing about this film?

I had heard that Psycho Beach Party was being filmed, but I completely missed seeing it released to theatres (maybe it wasn’t?). Anyway, it’s on DVD now and it’s kind of cute. Maybe more of a rental than a movie to buy — but of course I’d probably have never seen it in my local movie store.

On a side note, I _really_ like the picture of the trash chute. I’m not kidding; I loved the site before it was there, but it’s so nice to have something “tangible” on the front page.

Psycho Beach Party definitely had at least a limited release last summer.
