The Fine Art and Pseudo-Science of Dumpster Diving. The end of the academic year is the best time to go dumpster diving in a college town. Over the years, I’ve seen students in the dorms throw away perfectly fine clothes, furniture, and appliances just so that they don’t have to move them home (via boing boing).
