All is not well in TiVo land. So I’m trying to set up my TiVo… I plug it into the phone jack and program it to dial 8 to get an outside line. The problem is, on this campus you dial 8 and then the area code (you do not dial the 1). But the TiVo wants to dial 8 and then 1-800. I checked with phone services on campus and they say there’s no way around it with our phone system. So now I have to call TiVo’s support line and see if they can help me. Do any of you have any ideas?
