I’m back.
I’ve really been tempted lately to chuck running my own Linux server and home-grown PHP/MySQL blog scripts and instead just use Blogger and a free-server instead. I’m really just a Linux newbie, so I get stuck a lot.
On Sunday, after spending a week trying to download the disc images for the new 7.0 version of Red Hat (without getting cut off), I finally burned the discs to CDROM and then tried to upgrade my server. It then promptly stopped working and refused to boot up again. Thus, I was forced to do a new installation from scratch and then try to restore all my files from my zip drive archives.
Finally, 3 days later, it seems like everythings back up and running again.
