Hit or Miss

Netscape vs IE.

I’ve been working on a computerized report system for our Student Advisors to write judicial incidents on and have run into a weird problem. When posting the contents of a form to a CGI program, IE seems to be chopping off the variables at a certain point, while Netscape seems to be posting everything no matter what the length (and this happens whether I use GET or POST as the form method).

Is this usual? Does IE has a cut-off point for the length of form variables?
