In which Matt pauses to process through his feelings. So I’m walking across the street today and the guy I meet recently drove by in his car and stopped to talk to me. Real briefly — “hi, how are you doing? I’ll send you an email, yada yada, see ya.”

So I continue on my way across campus and I can’t help but break out into this enormous smile. The kind that is accomplied with butterflies in the stomach.

Am I sweet on this guy? I don’t know. I’ve only hung out with him a few times and I don’t really know him all that well.

But he seems like a guy that I’d like to get to know better. He’s smart and funny and good looking and even a little cocky (which I find attractive in a guy). So, I guess I’ll admit it – I’m attracted to him. Uh, really attracted to him.

But is that just because I’m in a new town and don’t know anyone and this could be the only chance I have to meet a potential boy/or other friend?
