QTVR
I spent the afternoon farting around with Apple’s QuickTime VR Authoring program. This morning, I checked out a digital camera and a 360 degree camera tripod mount and then shot the lounge and courtyard of my hall. Couldn’t have been easier.
Then, I read some tutorials on QTVR and started using the software. Importing the 16 different photos and stitching them together into a
panoramic view of my lounge couldn’t have been easier.
But then when I tried to save the QTVR file, the computer gave me an “Unkown Error: ID 23” or some such bull (and Macs are supposed to be easier to understand than PCs?). The woman who runs the New Media Lab is out of town for a week, so I think I’ll wait before I go back and try to use the program again.
