Real World IX Premiere. I haven’t really enjoyed the Real World since the first season. Julie from Season One, the girl from Alabama, went to the high school in the next town over from mine and was the cousin of one of my classmates — I really identified with her and her reactions to being in New York.

Now, this season is set in New Orleans and is feeling pretty downhome and Southern already, what with the folks from Georgia and Arkansas. Add to that the drama from Danny‘s boyfriend in the military who must be blurred while on camera and I’m actually excited about watching the show again.
