Upgrade of Death

Be careful if you upgrade to AOL 5.0 – it’s been reported to affect other internet software programs and connections.  Others report that it’s causing their computers to crash (via camworld).

Personally, when I upgraded to AOL 5.0 two months ago, I rebooted my machine and watched in horror as a DOS prompt appeared and said that it couldn’t find Windows.  Fortunately, I only had to completely rewrite my autoexec.bat file, which the upgrade mysteriously deleted.

I think that AOL sucks because there are a lot of problems with 5.0 and 6.0. 4.0 is out of date so you can’t use that. I also watched in horror
as my pc said that it can not find windows! THIS SUCKS!
