The new designs for the five and ten dollar bills were released yesterday. I agree with Scott (The Other Side) that Abe Lincoln looks like he’s got a little Vulcan attitude going on.

Can I just go on record with how much I dislike the new bills? Could our currency look anymore like Monopoly money? I’m all for increasing the security features of our currency, but why can’t we have some beautiful, colorful notes like the ones from Europe — instead of these plain, square looking ones?
