WLLC
Collins’s closed-circuit radio station, WLLC, has been defunct for a few years now. Tonight was the first test broadcast for a new semester of programming. I’m the only person who actually had a connection (you have to hook your radio up to your cable box), so the programming was focused towards me for the entire hour. I rounded up a few friends to listen in from my room and we called in requests and reports on the signal strength.
I can’t wait until the station is completely up and running so I can have my own radio show. A project for later in the semester will be trying to get the station to broadcast on the internet in Real Audio.
